After the 1997 Indy 500, a photoshoot was conducted with winner Arie Luyendyk. The film was rushed to Firehouse image Center, processed and scanned. Under guidance of an art director from New York, I performed extensive retouching and color correction to the image. Then placed it into numerous ad templates and uploaded the files to the waiting publications. The ad appeared full page in USA Today the day after the race.
Indycar driver Robby McGehee was signed to the Meijer team. Meijer needed promotional materials (posters and standees) of Robby for their stores. But, Robby's new uniform did not exist yet. So, I worked with an older photo, removed logos, color corrected it and then painstakingly recreated his new uniform one logo at a time.
Here is the Meijer poster built with the new Robby McGehee image.
